Another day - wasted.

So, its my first day home today. yesterday doesn't count 'cause it was just half a day and I was dead tired. Well well, what o' what did I do then?

Woke up at 11am. Went to Jusco with mum to get groceries. Came home, got carried away with TV shows, helped mum with house chores. Cousins came over for dinner. END.

Awesome isn't it?

Tomorrow's a big day, for my brother ;p PMR results babe! They.are.so.dead. I hope.

I need to make a decision as to which Laptop to get! :O Decisions & choices.. I hate them. If only mum knew a little more about technology. She'd pick the best one for me.

Note to self (in the future) :-
Oh, something significant happened today, for me at least.
Let's just say, I've gone through all phases ;)

Days of a semi-caveman.

17/12/2009 (Thursday)
After coming back from Newcastle, I switched on my laptop and it went all fine. After that, went to Harvey's Birthday party till around 12am. Got back and laptop wouldn't work :( My day as a caveman begins.

18/12/2009 (Friday)
First day being a caveman. Thank god my mind was thinking of going home very very soon, so not in a Im-going-to-die-this-holiday situation. Did a little cleaning up, then used the university computers to go online for a while. Not entirely caveman then :p

19/12/2009 (Saturday)
ChinYuen and her friend came to Visit Sheffield. Yay, something to do for me! :) Then met up with TerngSheng, WaiShan, Robin + Family that evening. It was a great day for me. LOVE it.

20/12/2009 (Sunday)
Went to Meadowhall to waste my time. All I could think of is that I'm going home on Tuesday! Freedom, INTERNET! Watched Avatar. Story line kinda predicatble, but super thumbs up for the effects and animation.
Got home around 5-ish , felt a bit weird, checked my flight time, IT WAS TOMORROW! *Minor heart attack* but luckily, manage to get everything done in time, including laundry, packing and cleaning my room. I scared myself a little there, but it was all good.
I even had time for a game of snowball with my friends :) I truly am AWESOME.

21/12/2009 (Monday)
Slept for less than 7 hours - woke up at 6am, all excited and ready to go home. Walked all the way UPHILL to the bus station and got into the train in time. Saw the most adorable little toddlers and kids in Manchester airport when it just hit me, I rather enjoy watching social activities in the airport. Sooothing.. teehee

22/12/2009 (Tuesday)
Reached Dubai Airport around 1am. Again, met another little kid(who sat next to me on the plane) and learnt a new thing:- little kids might think other kids as another doll and will attempt to hit him/her with whatever "weapon" they can find. KIDS.ARE.DANGEROUS.
Reached home sweet home at 4pm. Nothing feels better than being at home.

Wherever someone thinks of you, that's where home is.

1st stage. Bye Grandma.

When my brother called me in the morning and told me the news, I didn't feel much sorrow. A little bit upset and slight stomach ache, that's all.

But still, in my mind, all I can think of was going to the Christmas party tonight. Every time this thought came into my mind, I felt beyond guilty. Half of me wants to go and bond with my flatmates while the other half wants to just stay home. Again, nothing really sad.

When the night comes, flatmates are having a blast during pre-drinks. They're not really aware of who's there or not. So, lucky for me, I get to concentrate more on my lab report and stay aside from all the celebrations. Then they left for the party.

It's midnight and then, one of my flatmate conveniently have a killer heels and decides to come back and change. She realises I'm not in the party, knocked on my door and asked me what happened.

They are the first people that I told about the news.

The moment I told them, I don't feel right.

I'm not sure yet, but I think I'm still in the denial phase. Perhaps its because I'm still very far away from home. Nothing is real yet. Nothing needs to be real for a while. Everything can be just the way it is for the moment. For now.

I know everyone else has begun the 5 stages of grief. Most of them has reached depression or bargaining. Hopefully everyone will be okay. Hopefully, everyone will reach the final stage sooner. Time will heal the wound and sorrow in their heart. I'm sure of it.

For now, even though my heart tells me it's not real, but my logic and rationality tells me it's time to pray.

Rest in Peace Grandma.
婆婆,我会想念你。

It's a Big World out there.

But my life revolves around certain places only. More accurately, certain Websites. Mainly (drum roll please) :-

1) FACEBOOK! dum dum dum (no surprise there)

2) Blog Surfing!

3) MSN & Skype

4) News Online

5) Emails & University Accounts.

6) Ninjanet. (Charmaine, you know I love & hate you for this )

7) Youtube.

Come to think of it, that's what normal people do init? What does anyone who don't have internet do with all their free time.

Hmm.. Okay, historical people are forgiven 'cause they have wars to go too and food to hunt for (that means YOU caveman). Grannies have television to watch. Other people might have to work extra shifts for extra cash. Mums have kids to watch over. This leaves.. every teenager and certain adults left.

Teens: SHAME ON YOU IF YOU'RE QUALIFIED AND STILL MANAGE TO GET STRAIGHT As!

The reason I'm blogging right now, is because, I (what the British would say) CAN'T BE ARSED to study for the January Exam and Facebook is failing me.

Intense guilt is rushing into my consciousness now. Guilt is related to vitamin B12. Deficiency of Vitamin B12 is caused by a number of factors. Diet is ruled out because I had a good meal just now........
THAT'S WHY I SHOULDN'T STUDY! I think too much.

Gaaah, I miss home :(

And I need more FRIENDS :(

Sisters in Bath

Pictures below are taken during Karaoke session in Bristol! :)
Note: Blurry pictures are due to pictures taken with the 2ndary camera of the phone.
apologies :p

Last Weekend, went to bath to visit my beloved sisters. I have to say, Bath is quite a nice place. Very crowded and lots to shop. I bet it'll be so much nicer during the spring or summer when it's sunny all day long. Rain makes Bath looks like Shower.

mondays suck.

zomg, it's been forever since I last blogged. Why? Because lecturers are born.

Diabolical people they are. Giving lots of assignments + 1 lab report due next week. No one in their right mind can finish all those junks!! (okay, I'll admit it, I'm just lazy)

Lately, I've been sleeping WAAY past my bedtime (t0 me at least) due to lots of "distraction" - watching TVshow online, facebook etc etc.. (pretty much explains why I can't finish my assignment).. Well well, what are internet for eh?

Hmm, last weekend, went to London, Bath and Bristol. Fine fine, to be honest, Bath is waay much nicer compared to Sheffield, but outloud, I will not admit it! teeheeee.. :p
Pictures will soon be uploaded. I promise!

For now, I.neeed.to.go.to.bloody.lectures.

Monday sucks. Gaaaahh..
