imaginations.

Mock exams really cracked my head wide open, filling it with wild imaginations and crazy thoughts.

Usually I wash my dishes on the third floor where I have dinner with Pagan, Eepin and Renze. Because of Mock exams, I didn't go up for dinner, so I washed my plates on the ground floor (where I my room is). Dish washer on the third floor was those normal dishwater. Apparently, the dish washer on the ground floor is Lemon Scented..
I got no idea why dish washers are even scented. You put your food on the plates and basically covers the lemon freshness. If your glass was washed with that dish washer, wouldn't you be drinking lemon-scented water a.k.a lemonade?

Another time, I was thinking how do you prove that wind exist? It was in one of the episodes in House M.D. You can't see it, you can't hear it, all you can do is touch it. But to believe is to see, hear and touch right? So how do you prove that wind exist?
- You see the leaves move.
Very philosophical. =)

Then I was thinking about rationalism. Basically it's just something like "everything happens for a reason." So, I was trying to do something without reason - something totally random. In the end, there always bound to be a reason, just that I'm not aware of. It's really cool actually.

After that, I was thinking, what if the everyone told the truth. What would happened if every single person told the truth and accepted the truth rationally.
I think the whole world would either be really happy, cheerful, full of sunshine and smiles OR the whole world would be dark, gloom, dull and full of sorrow. I'm sorry but the world can't have it both ways if one factor remains constant - everyone told the truth.
So, my conclusion is the lies balances the world so that there can be both Joy and Sadness.

Okay, I think I'm going crazy. Thank God Mock's over and I just spent more than 24 hours watching House M.D. The veins on my eyeball are really obvious and red and.. they look angry too. I think I need to sleep early today.

Is there a DOCTOR in the HOUSE?

Just keep studying, studying, studying..

Mocks is starting in two more days time and guess what? I just received 5 seasons of House M.D. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with the universe? I'm suppose to be freaking out 'cause I didn't do any studying but well, here comes House, to the rescue. Geez..

I remembered last time when AS exam was actually going on, I kept watching Charmed. 8 Bloody seasons of them. Why does good movie come when I seriously don't need them. In fact, they come when I seriously don't want them to come!!

But my results arn't that bad actually, besides Chemistry and Economics xD. I think watching theses TV shows affect more of my economical and chemical knowledge. Watching TV shows actually do improve mathematical and biological knowledge. New discovery!!

I could always continue watching them movies and see how my mock results would go, but then again, I'm not going to risk it. I promised dear mom and dad I'd get good results. xD
Things we do for love.

For now, House M.D season 2 Episode 12 and continuing until Sunday 12pm. I drew a line. The line is drawn. That's the limit. I promise. So dear God, please let it snow already.

My Favourite Quote of the day

"Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning."

What's up today?

Haven't been to the gym for one whole month now. Wasted 34.50 pounds. Sorry Mom!! xD

Talk about getting better in time. I'm feeling more worse by the day. Really scared I got no university offers. 3 choices left.

Even though UCL hasn't officially rejected me, but I could sense that it doesn't want me in its university. I don't blame UCL, London universities have too high standards. xD.. hehehe, my nature I guess. It's like when you can't eat the grape, you'd assume the grape is sour.

Mock starts in another 5 days. I haven't revised Biology unit 3 yet! I am so doomed beyond hope. Microbiology is also killing me, with all the medias and cultures and microorganisms.. geez, which bastard invented the microscope.

People are getting offers from Sheffield already but me? I just went for an interview yesterday. Seriously, chances of getting in is more and more slim. Why give us hope when they don't actually want us. I hate the idea of interview.

Oh well, the roads are icy, literally. Green grassy field frozen. No snow, just frozen grass. Not frozen leaf - it's frozen grass. Temperature is below zero degrees now. Weeee.. Just really looking forward to the snow. God, please let it snow. I promise I'd be good =)

No more wasting time. Study Study Study. Get As for mock and enjoy the damn christmas break! Yes?

Where did all the leprechauns go?

Absolute bad luck. I blame the leprechauns. Where the hell did they go?

Woke up early morning so that I could catch the train to Sheffield in time. My room was warm and cosy with the heater on. So, I put on a formal wear(shirt + blazer) and a T-shirt underneath. I was literally sweating and decided not to wear another coat. My first bad luck - I walked out for 10 minutes and started shivering. I can't go back then, it was too late. =(

After I reached the Cambridge Railway Station, there was an ATM machine there. I wanted to withdraw cash when I found out my second bad luck - I bloody forgot to bring my DEBIT CARD! I had only 5pounds and 51Pence in my wallet and that has to last throughout the morning and afternoon!!

Halfway reaching Sheffield, my third bad luck- It rained!! I didn't bring any umbrellas and I have no money to buy them!! Can things go any worst? Well, they can but nothing bad happened after that, all the way until the interview.

Sheffield Interview:
Overall, it was better than I have expected but since there are so many students applying to Sheffield and a lot of them are native British people - obviously they can talk so much better, hence I think the chance of me getting into Sheffield is very slim. Also, the interview was like a tongue twister for me. Gosh, I kept jumbling all the words!

  • I was meant to say something like perform a surgery, I don't know why but my mouth went perform a SURGICAL ... surgery?.. Embarrassing
  • I was saying dissect the body but instead, this came out: DIGEST the body. arghh!! I'm a failure. Let me die. =(
  • The interviewer asked me to give an example of a genetic disease. I couldn't come out with any and said COLOUR BLINDNESS!! omg.. !! I practically stay with a person with thalassemia but couldn't think of it
Sheffield's a very nice city. If and only if Sheffield gives me an offer, I'd really consider it, seriously!!!

Oh yea, BMAT score came out. Not really disappointed coz I've expected it to be very low. Anyway, with this BMAT score, I don't think UCL would want me. Bumer. But hey! on the bright side, one less interview to go to. =D

I guess the lepracauns came back.. I'm feeling optimistic now.

Awesomeness ~

Update

Mock week's up. =)

It's time to be studying.. But all I have in mind is the coming holiday.

-Christmas Holiday-

Can't wait to go to Paris (that is, if everything works out right.)

Can't wait for the interviews to be over too. Just wished that I could record the interview and when another university sends a letter and ask me to go for an interview, I could just send them the recorder. All possible interview questions answered, nice and easy.

According to some rather unreliable source, BMAT results would be out next week. Ohhh the suspense. xD. If and only if I get 19points above, I could automatically get interviewed by UCL! hmmm, 19 damned points.. geez, if I got 10 points, I'd be laughing my heads off!

Ahhhaizzz.. good old days when Mom was there to nag me into studying.

I miss all me Malaysian friends.

I miss life in WMS.

I miss home.

Complains again.

I can feel the laziness growing inside of me. Everything I do, I do it halfway, unless I really like what I'm doing =).

Homework is seriously piling up. Interview to worry about next week! Gosh, my life is a mess. I really need to sort things out NOW! I need an organizer! NO! I NEED A MOM!! better yet, I NEED MONICA GELLAR-BING!!

Freaking cold nowadays. It's like what- 2°c ? 3°c? It snowed a little too, yesterday. Seriously little, no more than 2 minutes. And the snow didn't melt away that fast. Unlike March, where the now melted within minutes. Not very excited with the snow this time.

Writing essay on "why I chose medicine" is super hard. Millions upon Millions of reason, none of them convincing enough. Honest though, but not convincing. =(

I need 2 weeks of holiday to clear up everything but damn mocks coming up real soon. I'm so tired now. I wanna sleep.

I'm complaining so much.

Complaining is my new hobby.
